About Us

I Am Woman Proverbs 31 Ministry, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization. In operation since 2014, we follow the vision given by God to create a network of women in leadership roles. We strive to minister and provide services to those who are broken, lost, confused, or seeking a refuge.

Using the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we minister and encourage women to realize and accept that Jesus is the answer to all of their challenges. Women in leadership will share their experiences and testimonies to empower women. Through empowerment, these women will have hope and strength to be successful in their endeavors.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to help women in leadership to go and “preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season, correct, rebuke, and encourage – with great patience and careful instruction.” (2 Timothy 4: 2)

Vision Statement

We envision a sensitized and mobilized community partnership where women and children have grown into successful and influential members of society.

Goal

Our goal is to implement services and resources to individuals, including children and families residing in low-income areas, by sensitizing or mobilizing the community, government sectors, and private sectors to their needs.

We want to reinforce partnerships, promote change, and maintain a “service-delivery” network that provides the opportunity for children and families to grow and become successful and influential members of the society.

Meet the Founder and President

Marielle Pierrot is a social worker and community organizer with more than 20 years of experience in the social services industry. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from York College – CUNY and Master of Social Work from Hunter College – CUNY School of Social Work.

“Community” and “resources” are two words you will frequently hear from the mouth of Marielle. She believes that “without a network of people and information, there wouldn’t be a community, nor would there be resources to share with the people who are in need.”

What this means is that it is important for people with the wealth of knowledge, compassion, and resources to network and spread the good to those in need. Whether they are a child, woman, or man, they will all benefit from all the resources.
